My god!! Sometimes I wish I hadn't got to know you my dear Champagne!!!
For many years, I thought that I had tasted champagne when I really hadn't. The truth was I had just tried some sparkling wine /sect or something similar from I don't know where, but no, oh no when I moved to France, I finally got the taste, and of course, now there is no turning back!
Went to se the Pol Roger Champagne production I Eperney, and had the grand tour which was very enlightening and interesting.
We tried these 3 types, the best one was of course Churchill, puhhh yeah, I understand why ( as I've heard ) Winston Churchill drank a bottle of this champagne every day;)
Here you se the guy who's job is rolling the bottles regularly.
